AMANDA ALCUMBRACK | children's ministry pastor
Amanda and her husband Eric have been attending Frontline since November of 2011. They have two kids, Christian and Alayna. Together the Alcumbrack family enjoys exploring the great outdoors by hiking, biking and trekking this world God has created. Amanda is a gifted leader and has been in some form of child development either as an aid, teacher or director since 2008. Amanda brings a wealth of experience and energy to the Children's Ministry here at Frontline!

NOAH ARCHER | student ministry pastor
Noah grew up in Spring Arbor, Michigan and moved to Grand Rapids to pursue a business degree at Grand Valley State University, where he met his wife Bri. During his Junior year, he had a radical encounter with Jesus. Soon after he felt a call into vocational ministry. He mostly recently completed an internship and apprenticeship through a Wesleyan church in the West Michigan area and joined the Frontline team in 2024. He has a passion to see students radically transformed by the love of God. He enjoys leading worship whether that’s on guitar or drums, and loves to evangelize. In his spare time he loves to play pickleball, spend time at the lake, and host family and friends!

CAROLANN BLOOM | worship pastor
Carolann has been on staff at Frontline since January 2021. Her heart is to help others experience and build relationship with the Lord through song, and through His Word. She is passionate about welcoming the Presence of God each Sunday that the Frontline family gathers! Carolann enjoys hanging out at home, cooking with her husband, and she is always down for a good coffee (especially an iced Café Miel) and conversation!

ERIN CRUISE | children’s resident
Erin grew up in Iowa and moved to Indiana to attend Indiana Wesleyan University. She graduated from IWU with a degree in Children’s Ministry in 2022 and is currently working towards a Masters in Practical Theology. Erin began her residency at Frontline in June 2023. She is an extreme extrovert and loves leading groups of people, especially children. Erin was called at the age of 9 to lead children and this residency is her first step to formally pursuing that lifelong call. Erin loves to do anything and everything outside: hiking, running, soccer, sand volleyball, and pickle ball.

DAVID DOERNER | lead pastor
David graduated from GVSU and continued his schooling at Western Theological Seminary. Even though he never wanted to be a pastor, he joined the Frontline staff in 2017 as the Connections Pastor and officially took the role of Lead Pastor in 2023. He and his wife Shannon have three boys named Judah, Jordan, and Hudson. They love living in West Michigan, camping in the summers, smashing a local burger, and enjoying outside. David is also a die-hard Chicago bears fan and loves being in the woods. What he loves most about his job is helping people meet and experience the same Jesus that changed his life.

NICOLE FRYLING | communications director
Nicole joined the Frontline church and staff in late 2024. Her background includes entrepreneurship, marketing, communications and branding strategy. She looks forward to using this experience to serve Frontline. In addition, she is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and is passionate about walking alongside hurting women and pointing them to Jesus for true healing. Nicole has two daughters who are both recent high school graduates, and she deeply enjoys spending time laughing with them and helping them figure out how to adult. In her free time, Nicole loves to lean into being an introvert by having deep conversations with friends, snuggling her cat, reading, walking, or being outside, especially near water.
KRISTIN GUMINSKI | children’s coordinator
Kristin has been a member here at Frontline for the last 8 years and has been volunteering with Frontline kids over the last year. In her new role, she’s most excited about connecting with the church community and building relationships through Christ. She lives in Belmont with her husband Tony and two boys, Emmett and Elliott. In her free time, she enjoys sitting by the pool, hanging out with family and friends, and visiting Disney!

CHERI HONDERD | interim missions pastor
Cheri is the Founder and Retired Executive Director of Hand2Hand, growing the ministry from 19 students to over 12,000 students, and previously served as the Missions Pastor at Fair Haven Church in Hudsonville. Her passion has always been for the Church to rise up and show the love and light of Jesus, especially because the Church displayed Jesus to her during a tough time in her life when she needed a Savior. Cheri has been involved in ministry since she was 18 and loves encouraging others to share the gospel through words and actions. She has been married to Mick for 40 years, and they have four children and ten grandchildren, all of whom she loves spending time with. Cheri also enjoys biking, hiking, boating, pickleball, strength training, traveling, and hanging out with good friends.

JAROD HARDER | discipleship resident
Jarod graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022 and finished his Masters of Practical Theology in 2024. Originally from Oklahoma, he moved to West Michigan in June 2023 to join the Frontline staff. He has a passion for seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ, come to a deeper understanding of Scripture, and connect with the church community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors including disc golf, fishing, camping and time with friends.

DAN JOHNSON | facilities director
Dan and his wife Amy have attended Frontline since 2012. They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. He retired in June of 2022 from a job he held for 21 years. He loves fishing and doing any type of remodeling projects. He joined the Frontline team as Facilities director in July of 2022. He is looking forward to helping build up Frontline’s commitment to the needs of the community and is excited to see what God has in store in this next chapter of his life.

EVAN KENNY | worship arts resident
Evan grew up in Grand Haven and moved to Indiana to study at Indiana Wesleyan University. He graduated in 2024 with a degree in Christian Ministries. At IWU, Evan learned both the passion and heartbeat of genuine christ-centered worship, and the life-changing encounters and impact that can happen among young adults. Convicted to pursue peer ministry, Evan led worship and prayer ministries for IWU students as well as surrounding colleges in Western Indiana. Evan began his residency at Frontline in 2025, and is thrilled to grow in both worship leadership and theological training and study. In his spare time, Evan loves to play ice hockey, create music, and cook!

COURTNEY KIMBALL | connections pastor
Courtney is a licensed pastor with a degree in Christian Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University and is pursuing ordination in the Wesleyan Church. She has a passion for helping people feel like they belong to their local church community and loves to sit and listen to people’s stories and their God-sized questions about life. She has lived in the Grand Rapids area since 2022 and loves spending time outside. She is always ready for a game night with lots of snacks and laughter too!

LUKE MORGAN | executive pastor
Luke and his wife Amanda met at Kuyper College where they graduated and were married in 2010. Their son Marcus was born in 2016 and the family is rounded out with Meesha the cat, and Suki the Great Dane.
Luke is passionate about discipleship and developing leaders for the Kingdom of God. He loves to spend time in nature, read old books, and cook interesting foods.

GABBY SCHULTZ | administrative assistant
Gabby started attending Frontline with her family in January of 2021. After being baptized in August of 2023, she decided to leave her job and pursue what the Lord was calling her into- a community in Christ. Gabby is often asked if she was named Gabby because she talks a lot, the answer is… YES! She has a passion for people and is excited to connect more with the church community. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, family and friends, eating good food, watching a good sunset (or sunrise), game nights and anything Christmas related!

ALEX SNYDER | middle school director
Alex joined the Frontline staff in 2021 and loves getting to play games with middle schoolers and teach them more about God. Hailing from the north side of Detroit, he and his wife Delaney now live in Kentwood. When he's not in class at GRCC, you can find him writing, reading, and challenging middle schoolers to ping-pong tournaments.

HEIDI WHITE | student resident
Heidi joined the Frontline team in June 2023 after graduating from Cornerstone University with a degree in Ministry. Initially feeling led to student ministry as a high schooler, Heidi is passionate about discipleship, coming alongside families, and cultivating a healthy culture built on Christ. She is excited for the opportunities that her residency holds and how God will use her at Frontline. Originally from Park City, Utah, Heidi is married to her high school sweetheart, Jared. Heidi enjoys quilting, baking delicious gluten free desserts, and going to the Zoo with her husband.

JARED WHITE | technical director
Jared and his wife Heidi joined Frontline in 2023 when Heidi started a residency in the student ministry. Originally from Park City, Utah, Jared has served in worship and tech teams for most of his life, and is passionate about shepherding teams to lead worship well through the use of technical arts. Before joining the Frontline team in June of 2024, Jared owned and operated a podcast production agency, and still loves to listen to, talk about, and create great podcasts.

INEKE WILKINSON | essentials store director
Ineke started attending Frontline in 2010. Throughout 2020 God brought Ineke on a journey which led to stepping out in faith into church ministry in the form of the Essentials Store Director. Ineke is a graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and a licensed counselor through the state of Michigan. She is married to Joel and they have 2 children; Tilly and Alistair. They also have a crazy dog named Boomer. Ineke enjoys spending time with family and friends in the outdoors (camping, hiking, beach days, and adventuring) or playing a competitive board/card game and eating good food.
