PURSUED| Week 14

Final Series Movement

As a church, we believe that different happens when we pursue the God who pursues us. Every part of Scripture reveals a loving God’s pursuit, and how it leads us into a new, different way of living. In the first half of this year, we’re exploring the four major movements of God’s Story: a good creation, the pain of sin, the glory of redemption, and the hope of eternity. Join us this Sunday as we continue our journey back to the God who pursues His people. Part four begins this Weekend and will carry us into Easter: Restored.

1 Peter: 1:14 “As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.”

1 Peter 1:15 “But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do.”

Matthew 15:11 “What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”

1 Peter 1:16 “For it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Revelation 19:11-1611 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

king of kings and lord of lords.”
