Life Hacks | Week 4

None of us will look back in 10 years and say “I wish I had a less healthy marriage.” or “I wish my soul was a little less rested.” Whether you follow Jesus or not, you want to grow. To be mature. To find yourself emotionally strong and spiritually rooted. However, it’s not always easy to make these things happen. What if you could hack this process? Scripture gives us life hacks (strategies) to keep our souls healthy. In this divided time, we are getting back to the basics of what God intended for us - a healthy soul.

Passages:

Luke 4:40-44 NLT As the sun went down that evening, people throughout the village brought sick family members to Jesus. No matter what their diseases were, the touch of his hand healed every one. Many were possessed by demons; and the demons came out at his command, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But because they knew he was the Messiah, he rebuked them and refused to let them speak. Early the next morning Jesus went out to an isolated place. The crowds searched everywhere for him, and when they finally found him, they begged him not to leave them. But he replied, “I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God in other towns, too, because that is why I was sent.” So he continued to travel around, preaching in synagogues throughout Judea.

John 17:4 NLT I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.

Luke 9:51 NLT As the time drew near for him to ascend to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.

Luke 13:22 NLT Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he went, always pressing on toward Jerusalem.

Luke 17:11 NLT As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria.

Luke 19:28 NLT After telling this story, Jesus went on toward Jerusalem, walking ahead of his disciples.
