Jesus People | Week 6
We’re all entering 2021 with big hopes and dreams - new cars, new jobs, maybe even new children! Could these be small in comparison to the hopes and dreams God has for us? What if, in the midst of the uncertainty and opportunity this year brings, God wants us to not just accumulate more or relax more but to become more?
What would 2021 be like if we became known as “Jesus People”? Join us this Sunday as we study Jesus’ conversation with His people scattered throughout the ancient world. By learning from their failures and their victories, we will seek to become “Jesus People.”

Revelation 3:1 (NIV) “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
Revelation 3:2-3a (NIV) Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent.
Revelation 3:3b (NIV) But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
Revelation 3:4-6 (NIV) Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Ezekiel 37:11-14 (NIV) Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’
