CAPTIVE LIBERATOR | Week 1 Decorate
Why am I in this situation? Why is our world so broken? As humans, we broke the world by our sin, and now even the brightest of seasons can be marked with pain. We live in a prison cell of our own creation. So, how do we get out of the cell? We need a Liberator. In the form of a human baby, Jesus entered our prison cell and freed us from the inside. The Christmas Story is that the door has already been unlocked and we have a Captive Liberator. Will you walk out of your cell and into freedom this Christmas? Starting this Sunday 9AM + 10:30AM.

Isaiah 53:2-3 (NIV)
He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Mark 10:21-23 (NIV)
Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth. Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”
